What role you will play in our team
We are seeking professionals with a background in accounting, financial analysis, or consulting to support ExxonMobil’s global businesses. In this role, you will deliver high-quality financial information, provide performance insights, and enable informed decision-making. Success in this position requires the ability to translate financial data into business insights, and effective management of multiple priorities and deadlines.
What you will do
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage timely preparation and filing of corporate income tax, transfer pricing, VAT/GST returns, and other statutory filings.
- Support annual transfer pricing documentation compliance.
- Ensure accurate and timely payment of all tax obligations, including VAT/GST and advance tax.
- Prepare tax computations for VAT/GST refunds and applicable incentives.
- Manage VAT/GST registrations, including new applications and updates.
- Liaise with tax authorities and support responses to queries and notices.
- Monitor changes in direct and indirect tax regulations and assist with system and process updates.
- Support tax accounting, reconciliations, and audit requirements.
- Coordinate with external tax advisors on filings, assessments, and refunds.
- Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance.
About You
Skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business-related fields
- Candidates with 3+ years of experience in international tax compliance/ tax audit/ tax advisory are preferred
- Fluent in English: TOEIC 800+, TOEFL iBT 98+, or IELTS 6.5+
- Solid analytical skills with a strong foundation in financial and accounting principles
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated strong academic performance
- Familiarity with accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Group Reporting, BlackLine, Workiva) or data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI) is an advantage
