Responsibilities:
- Implement, configure, and support client infrastructure on cloud (AWS, HWC, GCP, OCI) and on-premises environments.
- Collaborate effectively with end-users, project teams, and in-house developers.
- Participate in the design, planning, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of infrastructure.
- Proactively monitor service levels and network/storage equipment. Troubleshoot and resolve incidents promptly.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for operations, configurations, and implementations.
- Be on-call and respond effectively to alerts.
- Participate in continuous learning and professional development.
Qualifications:
- Experience with Linux system administration and troubleshooting, including common errors like “ERROR 2006 (HY000): MySQL server has gone away” and effective database error handling strategies.
- Experience with the installation and configuration of production environments for high-availability and high-performance computing, such as MariaDB Galera Cluster, open MPI, Elasticsearch clusters, and MySQL multi-master setups.
- Experience with the installation and configuration of web-based applications and services on various platforms.
- Experience with the installation and configuration of CMS/e-commerce platforms, such as WordPress or Magento.
- Experience with Linux monitoring platforms like Zabbix or Nagios, and log management platforms like Graylog or ELK stack.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to logically and systematically diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash) is a plus.
- Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, etc.) and security best practices is beneficial.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, HWC, GCP, OCI) and their services (e.g., EC2, Kubernetes, Cloud SQL) is a strong plus.
